Introduction

Zakatly ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your data when you use Zakatly.

Data Collection

Zakatly does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data.

All asset data (cash amounts, gold quantities, stock holdings, etc.) is stored locally on your device using SQLite.
No account creation is required.
No personal information (name, email, phone number, location) is requested or collected.
No analytics or crash reporting data is tied to your identity.

Data Storage

All Zakat calculations, asset records, and user preferences are stored exclusively in a local SQLite database on your device. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to share a report.

Network Usage

Zakatly uses the network only for:

Gold/Silver price fetching: Anonymous requests to GoldAPI.io and Metals.dev APIs. No personal data is included.
Firebase Analytics (optional): Anonymous usage statistics. No personally identifiable information is collected.
Firebase Cloud Messaging (optional): Push notification delivery. Requires a device token (anonymous, not linked to identity).

All network requests are made over HTTPS. You can use 100% of Zakatly's core features without any network connection.

Data Deletion

To delete all data stored by Zakatly:

Android: Settings → Apps → Zakatly → Clear Storage
iOS: Settings → General → iPhone Storage → Zakatly → Delete App

Since no data is stored on our servers, deletion from your device is permanent.

Children's Privacy

Zakatly does not knowingly collect any personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page.
